Synopsis:
"It was the music of something beginning..."
At the dawn of the 20th century, three disparate families in New York intersect in a sweeping struggle for the American Dream. Black pianist Coalhouse Walker Jr. and his beloved Sarah, Jewish immigrant Tateh and his little girl, and a wealthy white gamily led by matriarch Mother. All grasping for the same dream, if only they can hold onto it. Based on the classic novel by E.L. Doctorow, Ragtime is a symphonic masterpiece that remains hauntingly relevant in 2026, exploring themes of systemic injustice, the immigrant experience, and the volatile search for identity.
