Synopsis:
Noël Coward’s "champagne-fresh" comedy of bad manners returns to Broadway in a stylish new revival. Best friends Julia (Kelli O'Hara) and Jane (Rose Byrne) are happily married—but perhaps a little bored—when their husbands head off for a weekend of golf. Their quiet day is upended by a postcard from Maurice (Mark Consuelos), a dashing Frenchman and former lover whom both women shared a passionate dalliance with before their marriages.

As they wait for his imminent arrival, the two women attempt to maintain their composure through a series of increasingly potent cocktails. What follows is a riotous, drunken evening of resurfaced rivalries, scandalous confessions, and "frenzied" comedy. Directed by Scott Ellis, this production is a sharp, sophisticated exploration of female friendship and the high cost of a "pre-marital past."
