Synopsis:
A finalist for the Pulitzer Prize, Becky Shaw is a razor-sharp, pitch-black comedy about the messy entanglement of family, money, and modern dating. The story kicks off when a newlywed couple sets up a blind date between a vulnerable, complicated woman named Becky Shaw (Madeline Brewer) and a cynical, high-strung financial advisor (Alden Ehrenreich).

When the evening goes spectacularly and violently off the rails, it triggers a family crisis that forces everyone involved to question what they truly owe to the people they love—and the strangers who land on their doorstep. Inspired by the social-climbing themes of Vanity Fair, this 2026 Broadway debut is a fast-paced, "ferociously funny" exploration of the high cost of being a "good person."
